First of all, I want to say that I am not an ordinary kid. It hurts me when everyone is staring at me. I can’t understand why my face is so scary. I’ve tried really hard to ignore people’s reactions. My favorite holiday is Halloween, but Christmas is full of happiness and no one cares about my face.

We were sitting next to the Christmas tree. I was bored. I wanted to open my presents. I was so tired, but then I saw something weird.

Through the window I saw a snowman. I went outside to look closer. I saw a little creature with a red hat and red clothes. It was a tiny Santa.

-“Hi”, I said.

-”Hello”, said Santa.

-”What are you doing here”, I asked. 

-”It is not your business”, he shouted.

-”Is that so?”, I said.

-”Ok, little boy, listen. I have to put the snowman in every garden and you are not allowed to disturb me”, he said.

-’’Why?’’, I asked.

-’’Uhhhh, I told you already, THIS IS NOT YOUR BUSINESS‘’, he shouted.

-’’You are so rude’. I said.’

-’’What is wrong with your face?’’, he asked.

-’’I’d rather not talk about it’, I said.’

-’’Ok goodbye’’, he said. 

-’’Merry Christmas Santa’’, I said.

-’’I am not Santa, my name is Jack’’, he said.

I woke up and it was Christmas.

There was a city full of happiness. All the kind families living in this city were preparing for the New Year. They prepared food, bought gifts and decorated their homes. There was a family who hated the New Year. Every family wondered why this family didn’t like New Year. 

One day the family explained why they hated the New Year. They hated the holidays because their son John disappeared one New Year’s evening. After losing their son, they started hating the New Year. Tom wanted to do something to make this family happy. He bought them gifts, gave them food and a Christmas tree. Everyone was very happy and excited because it was New Year. 

All the people ate, laughed and sang together. They started giving gifts to each other. Suddenly they saw a child walking towards them from the forest. He was very dirty and was crying. When he got close to the people, they recognized who he was. It was the boy who went missing one New Year’s night. His parents rushed to hug him. Everyone in the city lived happily and everyone loved the New Year.

I think August will celebrate with Summer, because the other kids think he is ugly. Summer and August are friends and he is able to celebrate with her. His New Year is  going to be the worst. Why? He only has Summer as a friend.  It turned out that he had so much fun with Summer and didn’t need other friends to have a great time.

He is going to ski a lot. Who is going to teach him to ski? A teacher. He is going to celebrate at a restaurant. 

August celebrated with Summer and had a good time.

My Essay is about a dog named Buck from the “Call of the Wild”. I want to write about how Buck spent New Year.

It was New Year’s Eve and a New Year’s mood in the house of Charles, Hall and Mercedes. Mercedes was baking delicious cookies, Charles and Hal were decorating the Christmas tree. Buck was running around the house happily. Sometimes he stole cookies, sometimes other sweets. His main job was to bring firewood from the snowy yard. They were waiting for guests and Buck was also waiting for his friend Billy, so he kept looking out of the window.

After seeing the guests, Buck barked and happily ran outside. Buck and Billy almost destroyed the whole house with their rough playing. They were jumping on the sofas and they wrestled with each other. It was a lot of fun. While playing, they crashed into the Christmas tree and overturned it. Branches and toys were broken. Buck and Billy ran outside and disappeared. Charles, Hall, Mercedes and the guests were worried and wanted to go and find both of them. Suddenly, they saw that Buck and Billy were approaching with a big Christmas tree on their backs. It was heavy and hard to carry, so Charles and Hall helped them and thanked them. Mercedes said “It is no secret that dogs make people happy. He is an important member of our family and not just a pet.”

Buck had one wish for the New Year. He wanted a warm and loving family. I think that his wish was fulfilled. After that, they lived long and happily ever after.

It was the 31^st of December when August and his family were getting ready for the New Year.

August likes New Year, but he prefers Halloween. His mom was making some yummy food and his sister was helping her. August was so excited about it. He was a good boy this year. He learnt many things and he showed everyone that you don’t need to choose people based on outer beauty. The special thing is who they are on the inside.

New Year began and everyone was so excited. August and his family started eating. They had a good time together. They had dessert after dinner. His grandparents came to visit. They had a good time too. They played family games and had fun.  This is how he and his family spent Christmas together.

They find and book hotels, museums, concert tickets, snowboards, and other important things they want to do there. Her parents did not give them permission to go yet and they are getting worried. 
•   O: Everything is ok. 
•    L: Yeah, but there is one thing.
•   O: I know! We need an answer from our parents about our plans. 

     L: If they say “yes” we will buy tickets very quickly.

• Their parents said “no”, but they begged them and eventually their parents agreed. They had so much to do and organize for their trip.

• They arrived in America and waited for Christmas to open their presents. Olivia received a new phone as a gift and Liza received a new watch.
• They were very happy.

A few days before New Year’s I went to my village. It is called Guria. That’s where my grandparents live. I was going to spend Christmas there with my family. I had lots of fun in Guria. We had a little playground and a big garden.

I celebrated Christmas that night. My presents included red roller skates, sketch markers, a white hat, a cup for my drinks, a cute crop top and a phone. My sister got the same presents except for the phone and the crop top. In January we returned home to Tbilisi. We had the best Christmas ever.

The Monkey Foot King invited Mulan, the Prince and August for a party at 6:00 pm. He wanted to see which guests would arrive. It was fun at first, but August didn’t arrive for another hour. They started to look for him. They searched the entire town. They finally found him. It turns out he was just distracted by a street performer.

At eight o’clock they returned to decorate the house. They prepared milk and cookies, decorated the tree and went out to the store to buy snacks and drinks. They were playing Secret Santa.  The Monkey Foot King still had not bought a present. 

While everyone was having fun he decided to sneak out. He replaced himself with his monkey servant. He went to the biggest store in the world. They had everything including diapers, books, toys, shoes, clothes, hats and so much more. He was August’s Secret Santa. He bought him a full working space suit, Astronaut themed bed sheets and Astronaut action figures. 

Nobody suspected a thing and he switched back with his monkey servant. It was 11:59. They were about to open the Champagne. August felt left out because he could not drink it so they let him have a sip.

It was 12:00 am. Everybody was celebrating.

 I congratulate you on the arrival of 2023. I am Giorgi. I am 10 years old. I want to tell you about the famous character called August from the book “WONDER”.

       August is not an ordinary child, but an extraordinary child. He can do everything ordinary children can do, but he still considers himself extraordinary.

       The strangest thing is that he is 10 years old and has not ever attended school. The reason for this is his clothes and his physical appearance.  He has had a lot of surgeries and he does not like to dress neatly. He does not have many friends. The ones he has, he loves with all his heart and always tries to please them.

   The mood of New Year can be felt right from the door of my house. I visited the yard, the house and the Christmas tree. I am not indifferent to cooking either. With the help of my mother, I baked New Year’s pies and gingerbread cookies for my dearest sister, Via and my friends.

       I placed presents under the Christmas tree. I decorated the table with New Year’s accessories and waited for 12 o’clock, because I knew that at 12 o’clock Santa Claus would visit us with gifts from the fireplace.

      A few minutes before New Year’s, I invited my friends and we were about to start singing when Santa Claus appeared from the fireplace with his Christmas tree.

When Santa started handing out presents, the Grinch appeared to our surprise.

There was an argument between them. The Grinch wanted to steal all the presents and the Christmas tree. With the help of my friends, we kicked the evil Grinch out of the house.

         After that, we had a big party with Santa Claus, our beloved friends, our dearest sister and parents. I gave a special gift to my sister – Via, I gave her a beautiful fairy dress, and to my mother I gave beautiful jewelry. My friends got board games and cars. I got a phone from Via.

        The New Year’s celebration ended in a fun way with a big fireworks display. I would like to wish everyone a happy New Year. May it be a year that brings peace, health and happiness.  May we live in a peaceful country.  May all our dreams come true.

AUGUST DECIDED TO GO TO TBILISI FOR HIS WINTER BREAK, BECAUSE HE HEARD THAT THERE WAS DELICIOUS FOOD SO HE WANTED TO TRY SOME.

IN THE PLANE

 IN THE PLANE THEY WERE SEATED NEXT TO EACH OTHER.THEY SPOKE AND BECAME BEST FRIENDS.WHEN THE PLANE LANDED THEY SAID GOODBYE AND WENT TO THEIR HOTEL.

IT LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE NEIGHBORS. THEY DECIDED TO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS TOGETHER.

IN TBILISI

FIRST THEY DECIDED TO GO AND EAT DINNER SOMEWHERE, SO THEY WENT TO XINKLIS HOUSE. THEY WENT ON A LITTLE TRIP TO QARTLI AND KAXETI. IN QARTLI THEY WERE FARMING AND IN KAXETI THEY MADE SOME CHURCHXELEBI .THEY HAD SO MUCH FUN. THEY DECIDED TO GO TO THE CHRISTMAS PARTY.

AT THE PARTY THEY WERE HAVING SO MUCH FUN. THEY WERE DANCING,SINGING AND PLAYING GAMES. IT WAS TIME FOR PRESENTS. MULAN BOUGHT AUGUST A COOL NECKLACE WITH HIS FAVORITE CHARACTER “BOBA FETT”.  AUGUST GOT MULAN A SWORD WITH A PRETTY PINK AND WHITE FLOWER.
