Keso Bachiashvili – Santa and professor Verity

The New Year was coming. Santa Claus got a lot of letters from children all over the world and started to gather presents for them. In the morning of December 31, he started his journey. When Santa arrived in London he was attacked by the criminals. Criminals took Santa’s clothes and all gifts. Poor Santa was arrested by the police. Nobody believed that he was the real Santa. This time professor Verity came in the police office. He saw this man and was very surprised. He asked Santa to sit on the truth machine’s chair and asked a lot of questions. Professor Verity: Where are you from? Santa: from Lapland. Professor Verity: Which transport did you use? Santa: I arrived by the sleigh. Professor Verity why did you arrive? Santa: To give presents to the children. Suddenly Santa found a letter in his pocket. It was the letter from a boy who wanted to get a Christmas gift. Santa said if you don’t believe me go and check. The inspector found a boy and was sure that the arrested man was Santa Claus. After that the police found criminals, took Santa’s clothes and gifts. There were only 10 minutes before the New Year. Professor verity took Santa with his car and they gave all gifts to everybody. The Children were very happy and Santa was very happy too.

Keso’s New Year Eve

This New Year was special for me because I spent it with my parents not at home, but in the nice Hotel Savaneti in Kakheti. There were a lot of children. There was a New Year’s concert and everybody enjoyed it. I danced a lot, even I sang a song in front of all guests. Everybody applauded me. I was so proud. Suddenly Santa Claus entered the hall, he gave us gifts and sweets. When I came closer to him, suddenly I recognised him, wow it was my uncle.  I didn’t say anything to him, but it was so funny. He tried to speak in a different voice like he were a very old man. I laughed a lot. When the fireworks started I thought my favourite dreams come for this New Year. I hope it works and for the next year my dreams will come true. 

We had a very good time. I never forget that night.  For the next year I want to take modern dance classes. I love to dance, when I hear the music I start dancing. I also want to improve my English and go for travel to Europe with my parents.

Giorgi Bakhutashvili – What Will Save the World

The 15 centimeters tall little men loved Gulliver very much, they became friends and lived together in peace… Yes, you are right… You guessed it… I am going to tell you a very interesting story about the well-known Gulliver and about human love…Gulliver already could understand Lilliputian and fluently speak in their language. He was a quite clever man and gave wise advice to people who needed it.  He was very kind and gave a hand with hundreds of little men, in bad or at the good times, especially when there was a storm, or the sea was rough at night, when the beach was fighting with high waves, and mountains around the temple were snowed by heavy white cold snow, when there was a terrible freeze and the gigantic ice cubes were lying near their small houses …  He helped them when the apple trees in the paradise garden were harvested…When there was an amazing holiday, he was as good for the housewives as for children or men.  No one could attack Lilliput, the country was fully defended. Only happiness, freedom, and love existed around them and in their little hearts. The Lilliput country loved holidays.  In these times they have funny days together. They were dancing, singing and laughing all day long. Everyone was happy, thankful, joyful, with a wide smile on their faces. 

It was a terrible virus…which spread very fast on the Earth and destroyed many people’s happiness…Despite it, people didn’t give up and deeply believed that once this trouble will end, like a nightmare…  It was one of the favorite holidays for people. Everyone was preparing for this magical day of the year and choosing special nice costumes. The streets were decorated in bright colors. These were not easy days, but everyone tried to be happy and somehow forget about the virus a little bit, and celebrate the New Year’s days… Gulliver stood up early morning, dressed, and went to the deepest forest. After a while, he found the most beautiful Christmas tree and brought it to the center of the city. Every child wanted to decorate the tree and they carefully held the Christmas toys with their tiny fingers. On top of the tree, there was twinkling a huge bright Christmas star. Everyone was standing around the tree and looking up to the shining star. Every little man had one wish: soon dangerous virus would disappear, and never come back to hurt people’s hearts. Gulliver had a secret desire and was trying to make his dream come true… He worked hard every day to invent medicine, which will save people’s lives all over the world… He never gave up…Tried and tried with heart…And did all his best… Once he will leave Lilliput’s country, he will meet with his nice family. He missed his two curly blond babies with blue, wide, angel eyes. Every day he dreamed to hug his kind, beautiful wife… Gulliver truly believed in himself and one amazing day, he found the magic formula and created a wonder pill… The virus already will never defeat human beings…That was victory… One big boat was standing in the sea, waiting to let it go…There were hundreds of little creatures with big hearts on the beach …Gulliver was leaving the country of Lilliput, where he learned that everything is possible, every dream comes true, love and care is the most important thing in our life…and never give up… 

As you see, 2022 was a lucky year. My story comes to the end. 2022 had a really happy and nice ending. Never forget: we live in a wonderful world, where we must care for each other and we must be full of love…  Wishing you a Happy New Year…Stay positive, work hard…May the New Year bring joy, peace, and happiness to you and your entire family!

Aleksandre Samkharadze – Professor Verity’s New Year!

Hello, my name is professor Verity. I have a lot of LEDs, so I use them to get ready for Christmas. I also have two Christmas trees, I put one on the front porch and one in the living room and I love decorating them. On Christmas Eve, me and my friends visit New York. We love to watch decorated streets and NBA games. We camp out in the local park. In my opinion, in the year 2022 no one would believe, that I invented the “Truth Machine”, but I would prove that by hooking someone up on the truth machine and proving that.

Nikoloz Mania – Gulliver’s New Year Story

Gulliver and his friends appeared in Tbilisi in 2021. This was the day before the New Year. They said: We never saw such a beautiful street. They saw a very high Christmas tree too. They liked small toys on the tree. They saw Santa Claus too. Gulliver and his friends ran to the Christmas tree. When they ran, they saw a strange thing that had 4 wheels. The boy on the street said to them: Watch out! They jumped: 

-What’s that?  

-This is a car.  

– A Car?!  

-This car is smaller than my ship. 

– A Ship? 

-And where is your ship? 

-It disappeared. 

-Who are they? 

-They are my friends.  

-And where are you going to sleep? 

-We don’t know that too. 

-Come to my house. 

-I have many beds for you.  

-Really? 

-Yes, of course. 

-Thank you very much! 

-They went to his house and slept. It was 12 o’clock. When Gulliver stood, he saw a strange thing again. It was a mobile phone. Gulliver asked the boy: – What is that?

-This a mobile phone. 

-Is not it dangerous! 

-No, of course. 

-OMG, It terrified me. 

-Wait did you see the Phone first time? 

-Yes I saw the phone first time.  

-Wait who are you?  

-I’m Gulliver.  

-Gulliver? It must be a dream, said the boy and fainted.

Natali Papashvili – New Year’s Countdown

It is 30th December, Lemuel Gulliver is going to London to celebrate the New Year with his friends Phileas Fogg and Jean Passepartout. He is very excited! Gulliver finally made it to London on 31th December! “Oh look, it’ Lemuel Gulliver! Coming with Passepartout!”- Said Phileas Fogg when he saw Gulliver. “Hello Fogg! It’s very nice to see you again!” “Hello Gulliver, let’s go to my house to celebrate the New Year! ”Gulliver goes to Fogg’s house. “Wow it’s very nice and cozy in your house!” Said Gulliver as he stepped into Fogg’s house.” Thank you!” said Phileas Fogg. Soon it will be the New Year! Everyone is excited! “Ten more minutes!” Said Fogg, he was very excited as well! “Let’s turn on the TV so we can count with the ten second countdown as well!” said Gulliver. “That is a great idea.” And Passeportout turned on the TV. “Ten! Nine! Eight! Seven! Six! Five! Four! Three! Two! ONE!” Said everyone together, It was finally the New Year! All three of them had fun and on January 1St morning Gulliver went back to his ship.

Muhamed Mamedovi – Gulliver travels to the North Pole

After Gulliver traveled in Blefuscu, he decided to go to the North Pole. He went there with a ship. It was very cold there. It was snowing. Gulliver and his friends became ill. They felt very bad. There were no medicines. Then they went out of the ship. Everything was covered with snow. They could see nothing. They were very hungry and thirsty. They were walking very slowly, because they were tired. Suddenly, they saw something strange and they ran after it. They reached a strange house. It was made of cookies and cream. They opened the door and went into the house. Gulliver and his friends were surprised, because they saw little men with red and green hats. Little people were scared so they called their boss. He was wearing a red coat, with red trousers and brown boots. He had a white beard, it was very long. Also he was wearing a red hat. It was Santa Claus! Santa laughed and gave Gulliver and his friends Christmas gifts. Also he opened a portal to their houses. They said goodbye to Santa and his  elves and went home.

In 2022 I want to make new friends and to be happy with my family. I want to start reading new books and I wish to travel around the world like Phileas Fogg.

Kesaria Meskhidze – The Christmas Thief

Professor Verity, Mrs. Seeker, Sack, Dr. Simple, Gulliver, Lilliputians and others were at a Christmas party. They got out but when they got out, the Christmas tree was gone. Sack said: We have to go and find the thief from our party. Everyone was sad but they followed Sack. They looked in all of the parks. Then they looked in all of the police offices. They didn’t find the thief. They knew only one place left so they got there. They saw the Christmas tree, it was their Christmas tree. They got happy but they still did not find the thief. They saw a guy next to the tree. It was the thief so they took him home. They ask him a question: Who are you? He said he was Luca but Sack saw him. It was the chief inspector. Sack called him the Christmas thief. Sack was so sad last time that he got out of the party sadly. Lilliputians said: #$%^&*()#&4%. This means that the inspector had to go to the gale. Sack was so happy that he got inspector. They put the tree back in its place and turned the music on and they started a bigger party.

Giorgi Samtchkuashvili – New Year’s Story

Christmas and New Year is one of the most special holidays in the world. At this time everyone forgets about the problems and starts preparing for the New Year. It was from London that such a tradition as sending cards came out. The first New Year greeting card was printed in1843 and leaving it unanswered is not an accepted behavior. In England, Christmas is considered to be a favorite holiday for everyone. However, with Big Ben in London. However, the British are flocking to the New Year to see the beautiful fireworks, which distinguishes London from a city with many traditions. Imagine the work of Jules Verne “Around the World In 80 Days’’. Mr. Fogg and his friend in the New Year. “80 days around the earth”. It is a Jules Verne adventure novel. The book was first published in 1873. The novel describes the journey of Mr. Fogg, his French servant John Passepourt, around the earth. Hitting a circle for the earth is considered impossible in 80 days. Majesty Queen Victoria even steamships can’t do that but punctual Phileas Fogg said it could orbit the earth in 80 days. Phileas Fogg is a wealthy English man who has no family. He has a friend-John Passepourt and he is French.

Phileas Fogg decided to call his friend to meet together in the New Year. Traditionally New Year was not celebrated as widely as Christmas. However, Phileas Fogg and his friend still visited the high clock tower called, “Big Ben’’. They also visited the restaurant, where they had a lot of fun. They tasted a traditional English goose dish and even performed a New Year’s song (Auld Lang Syne). They sang, danced and decorated the table with their toasts. They would have problems in the future as they got older but that did not stop them from continuing their activities. I celebrate The Georgian New Year in the traditional Georgian way. I put presents for my parents on the Christmas tree and I also receive presents from them. I don’t believe in Santa Claus because I know that parents leave gifts. Fun and merriment begin at twelve o’clock at night. May Georgia be united in 2022 and may all children have a happy and joyful life.

Elisabed Kveselava

I love reading newspapers. There are crosswords, stories, etc. I like traveling stories. BBC’s newspapers write that on New Year’s Day Phileas and Gulliver meet each other. It’s a wonderful news, isn’t it? I like both of them very much, because they are kindly intelligent people. 

As we know, Gulliver and Phileas Fogg love traveling and on New Year’s Day they met together in Paris. They decided to celebrate this wonderful day and went to the supermarket to buy presents and drinks, but they don’t know French. What can they do? Suddenly Philleas saw Passepartout, his old friend who knows French very well and he helped them.

They bought presents, drinks and some food. Passepartout asks them “What do you want in the New Year?”  “We are so tired that we need only sleep and rest”. Soon they were at home and cook supper. At 12 p.m. they congratulated one other and they were very happy.

I want to read many books, go traveling with my family, watch cartoons and of course I will end this pandemic.

Elene Gamkrelidze – New Year

Before a New Year, Phileas Fogg started to pack his baggage and to fly around the world and see many places. Phileas Fogg doesn’t want to go alone, he wants to see a friend. Two hours later Phileas Fogg chooses a man and his name is Jean Passepartout. In the morning Passepartout starts packing his baggage. When he ended, they went to the airport and flew the first plane. At first, they arrived at Cuesse. In Cuesse they saw a beautiful Christmas tree. Around the Christmas tree, people were selling Christmas toys and Gingbreades. After Cuesse they arrived in Tbilisi. In Tbilisi the whole city was illuminated, the streets were full of cars, to see the illuminated city. After they arrived in Callcuta. On the Christmas tree, there were Christmas letters and waited to the Santa Claus and their wish came true. It was fun. Then they arrived in Hong–Kong. In the city, there were many fireworks and beautiful laser shows. Suddenly the flight was canceled. He decided to stay in the hotel. Three days later Phileas Fogg gets ready to go to the airport.
