Extremely loud an incredibly close :
For my book, I choose extremely loud and incredibly close. I really liked this book, because I learned so many things for this book. Main idea of this book was to never give up. The main character is doing everything to get what he wants and he never give up. This book represents bravery. If you are brave there is nothing that can stop you. Bravery is one thing that I learned for this book and It helped me. He never gave up and get to the stage were he was no longer afraid.
Books or movies:
I prefer books much more than movies, because when I read a book I have my own imagination and I imagine things in the way I want them to be. I am not saying I do not like movies, in fact I love movies, but I see directors imagination and when I read a book I have my own, and it is very important to have you re imagination. It helps you in a lot of situations.
There is one book that we read pride and prejudice and it has a movie. Movie is great, I saw it before reading a book and it kind of stopped my imagination, but I still loved the book. Movie was identical to the book, pretty much everything was put on a movie. Also, it was very nice watching a movie. I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed reading a book. At this case I enjoyed movie more, because my first impressions are from the movie and when I read the book, I was not surprised of many things as much as in movie.
Oscar:
I chose Oscar for my New Year’s story because he is a child and I think he loves New Year like other children. I think Oskar has a friendly family and he definitely celebrated the New Year with his mother and grandmother. He is from an ordinary family. I think her dream for next year would be to find the owner of the key and also find out the truth about her father. Oscar is very independent and I think he would try to fulfill these dreams by next year. He always does everything to achieve his goal, which is his good quality, and he is also curious. These qualities will help make his New Year’s dream come true. New Year will also motivate him not to give up and to achieve his goal. He won’t tell his parents about it and will keep the joy only for himself, but I think this will be the best gift for him for the New Year and he will be very happy. He will know the truth and will no longer worry that his father’s death was his fault. Unlike any character we know, he’s going to have the best New Years.
I would love to repeat the day when my aunt visited us for summer, for all the way to America. She lives in America for 9 years and I have seen her on one easter, my 9th birthday and this summer. She stayed here for this whole summer and it was the best thing in my life. And if she would visit us for the next summer I would be very happy and I would like to repeat it.
predictions
Making predictions for the New year is very important because you have more motivation after you do that. And when the next year is coming you are going to be proud of yourself, because you did all of that in one year. Also, it is fun to do that, because you are going to see what you want to do and what you can do. I do that every year and when the next year is coming I am proud of myself because I did that in one year as I made it.
New year in Georgia:
In Georgia some people are going in the street at the Christmas tree to celebrate, some people are with there friends, cousins or their own house. And then everyone is eating delicious food, kids are waiting for Santa Claus to give them presents. After that everyone is talking about the year before and their predictions about the New year. They are talking about memories about last year and laughing at funny stories. New year is one of the best things in Georgia.
