Sandro Bubukhadia – New Year for August

New Year was about to start. August as usual woke up in his cosmonaut’s room, he was very happy, because he was getting presents and was going to meet his friends. He dressed up, made his bed, brushed his teeth, ate breakfast and went online on his phone to talk with his friends, he asked his friends to come over and celebrate New Year with him, but his friends said they could not come over. He had to decorate a Christmas tree, so he called his sister and parents, but it turned out they had left the house. August was alone and no one was answering their phones, but August didn’t get scared, he started decorating New Year’s tree. After finishing his work, he realized two hours had gone by and he was still alone, so he made the table, but food was missing. It was 9 o’clock and New Year was coming in three hours. August was sitting at the table waiting for his family to show up. There were no presents, friends and family, but suddenly the lights went out and bright lights were shining from outside. He looked through his window and saw his family and friends with presents. It was a surprise for him. He ran outside with open arms and hugged everyone. They went inside and danced all night and opened presents. He got the star wars new purple lightsaber that he wanted ad most importantly got his friends and family.
