Saba Kartvelishvili – Books or Movies

Some people might say that movies are way better than books, but I strongly disagree. Books have more depth than movies, books are also very interesting and you can read whenever you want.

Books are deeper than movies. Everything in books is explained with details. Every situation, every character and one thing which helps is that books don’t have to be short. There is no time in how big the book will be, while movies have a limited time of 2 or 3 hours. In a book, an author can write as much as he wants. This is why books are deeper than movies.

Books are more important than movies, because a reader must think while reading. They need to think while reading in order to understand the book. You don’t need to think, while watching a movie. You just sit and everything is shown In front of you. You don’t need to imagine the places and situations while watching a movie. Movies are very interesting, but I prefer books.

There is one thing that makes books very cool, you can read whenever and wherever you want. You don’t have to pay or rent a book like movies, you just open it and enjoy the magical experience which is in your hands.

There are also books, which have been turned into movies, for example: “Extremely loud and incredibly close”. This book is great and they also made a movie about it. There are lots of similarities between this movie and this book, but you mustn’t forget the differences as well. Everything is evolving fast in movies, but in a book you will think that time is moving slowly, because in a book everything is explained very clearly and is very detailed, as I said. One of the most important details are the main characters and side character’s emotions are expressed very well.

Overall, I can easily say, that books are better than movies.
