One day I visited professor Verity, who was working on his new invention. It was a time travel machine. He believed that he could turn an ordinary car into a time traveling machine.
As Christmas was approaching, I had a great desire to attend the New Year’s Eve party at the palace of Versailles. My wish came true with the help of the professor and now I’m at the carnival dressed as a musketeer.
Athos, Porthos, Aramis and D’Artagnan, Cardinal’s musketeers, Queen Anne, Constance and all the nobles attended the party.
Queen Anne was the most beautiful. She wore a necklace with 12 diamonds around her neck and danced proudly with the king.
After the carnival, all the guests were invited to a Christmas dinner. There were many dishes including roasted turkey made with a chestnut stuffing served with roasted potatoes, chestnuts and oysters, prawns, caviar and smoked salmon. They drank Burgundian red and ate delicious cakes.
At midnight we opened our presents and made wishes for the New Year.
