Clockwork Orange’s book film which means many to me, because it teaches me many things; That’s why I am a fan of Anthony Bridger’s. This man is talking important themes which never missing actual relevance.
A main character of the story is boy with name Alex. Our character is the reader of a small juvenile gang.
In this essay I will discuss the book and the screen adaptation of the book. As a reader, I will start with the book.
The story is told by the main character Alex, who commits a lot of horrors with his gang. You will ask me what he is doing, how bad with his friends.
Alex and the boys are robing some shops, stealing many, killing people painful, problem of this time, underestimation and disrespect of the older people, humans, grand moms, grandfathers. They beat old drunk man to death and humiliated him with unbeatable laughter. But that’s not the worst, they steal car and they bumped into people and laugh at them. Alex’s parents had no idea about this. They knew that their son was working. People have no idea when they will die, even the writer’s daughter did not know that it would be a hateful day. Alex and his friends wanted to spread their legs and fell into the house where the writer lived who was writing a strange book “Clockwork Orange”, guys made fun of him, disabled him in meaning and killing his daughter and ran to a big job which was last for Alex, because his friends sold him and he ended up in prison.
Alex was getting sick and was offered an experimental fix. I would talk a lot about this procedure. I will tell you the name of the procedure in my own words, memory, and brain and wash it well. After the procedure, Alex released. Newspapers were full of the government’s achievement. The family send the boy away, the friends became the police, beat him to death and threw them in front of stranger’s house.
Alex recognized this door, it was the writer’s house. The writer did not recognize the boy. Sheltered him and used him to criticize the government for his purpose. Alex couldn’t stand it anymore and decided to kill himself, but he survived and hanged himself and continue to live alone.
A few word about film. Film was made in 1970’s and it is so good, because we can see that time England which is showed in book. But here is one problem, because some think is despair and some think are more in the movie.
Thus, what I conclude is that the first Alex is crazy and you cannot treat a person like that. There are a lot of bad and evil problems that have been raised, those who don’t like you, go away and be who you are.
