Demetre Gvelesiani – Books or Movies?

I think it’s better to read a book because it is more fun. You can improve your imagination and reading skills.  If you are lazy and you don’t want to read you can just simply watch a movie. To watch a movie is not like reading. When you watch it you don’t experience any feelings. When you read a book you become immersed in the experiences of the main character and feel many different emotions. It is better to watch a movie when you are in a loud place, while reading requires a quiet place.

If you are watching a movie such as Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice and others there are many differences. Some characters may have blue eyes in the movie, but in the book they have brown eyes. Actors cannot look exactly as they are described to look like in the book. Movies are only an hour or two in duration and many details are omitted in the movie version of a story. 

My favorite genre is Fantasy. I love looking at the strange creatures and weird worlds created in a Fantasy genre story.
