Dear Teachers,
We are delighted to announce that English Book Education is organising a 3-month Preparation Course for Teachers’ Certification Exam in English Language.

The course is 48 hours in total, consisting of two 2-hour long lessons per week and 3 additional exams.

Top tips for storytelling with young children – Carol Read
Stories are a powerful vehicle for developing language in the pre-primary classroom but they can also fall flat and be difficult to manage if children are not attentive and engaged. The first session “Nonverbal communication in Teaching”was conducted by Dean and Professor Dr. Xiao-lei Wang, College of Education and Health Sciences at Adelphi University.
During the webinar the speaker discussed how teachers can take advantage of the nonverbal modality to help students learn, also how to use hand gestures, facial expressions, and body postures in teaching, and how to “read” students’ nonverbal communication cues and use them as an index in instruction.
