August’s family was so excited and could not wait for the New Year to arrive! August and his sister Via were so excited to see what presents they would receive on New Year’s Eve. The whole family gathered together and opened presents.
August’s mom bought them a big box of gifts and August and Via were so happy! August’s dad broke his glasses while opening his presents and everyone laughed. Luckily he was able to fix them later. August’s sister Via also had some difficulty opening her gift from their mom because it was wrapped in red paper which wasn’t easy to open. Via tried to open her gift by cutting it with scissors, but it didn’t work very well because she cut too much off of one part leaving some parts still attached to each other!
Their mom tried using a knife to cut through the paper wrapping, but she didn’t want to ruin any of the labels inside! August wanted a scientist costume for New Year as well as a Playstation. He was very happy when he received both of these as gifts. Via wanted a new handbag and makeup for New Year and she also received these items as gifts.
The whole family went to look at the Christmas tree. They also looked at the lights in the city and they love it. They went to a restaurant and enjoyed a delicious meal. After their meal, they went to visit Via and August’s aunt. They had so much fun. This is how August and his family spent New Year’s together!
