Anano Pertakhia – Via’s Christmas

In a beautiful village near the forest where beautiful trees and flowers flourished there was a small wooden house. In the small house lived a girl with long golden hair, named Via. She had little curly-haired twin brothers, August and Jack. They were naughty and restless, always teasing and annoying their sister. Via loved them very much and did everything for them. Via’s stepfather worked in the city and mostly took care of Via. 

It’s time to approach the New Year. This beautiful family had a New Year’s tradition. They baked New Year’s cookies, put up a Christmas tree and decorated the house with small lamps and toys. One day Via went with her twin brothers to the forest. They chose a beautiful Christmas tree and brought it home. They decorated it with various toys and lamps. They liked the Christmas tree very much. 

It was already the year 2023. The Year of the Rabbit was coming, so Via had to bake delicious rabbit and carrot biscuits. Via went into the kitchen, put on a hat and apron and gloves and started baking sweet biscuits. Via was baking and singing along: New Year will come soon, year of the rabbit, everything will be good for us. In the meantime Via baked biscuits and other cakes and waited for the guest minute by minute. She started to set the table and went into the kitchen to bring out the biscuits and cakes. They were gone. She looked for them. Then she realized that it was the work of her naughty wins. She was very upset. 

Via was tired. She was about to cry when she heard her friend Miranda’s voice, I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year. Via was happy to see Miranda, she smiled and congratulated her. I’ll help you and bake again. Really? The guests came with them. The guests were delighted with the decoration of the house and the beautiful table. Everyone had prepared delicious food. The members of the table could not hide their excitement. When they tasted the cookies their excitement knew no bounds. The girls laughed and ate and had a great time together.
