Anamaria Pirosmanashvili – New year in the Family of Mulan And Belle

Chapter 1

 The house is decorated with colorful lights. We have a big Christmas tree in the living room. There are many gifts under the Christmas tree, which we give to each other every year at twelve o’clock at night. The house is decorated not only with colorful lights, but also with handmade snowflakes, New Year’s bows, and colorful stars.We always celebrate New Year together. Belle, Mulan, Mom and Dad and also our dog named Buck.

Chapter 2

MULAN: On New Year’s Day, we all do our work. Dad always prepares meat for the barbecue. Bell and I always help mother prepare New Year’s dishes and set the table. We put plates, forks and glasses on the table. Mother fills the table with various foods.I suddenly wanted to drink tea. I boiled water and prepared a glass. For some reason, I started pouring tea all over the New Year’s table. My attention was drawn by the fireworks coming from my friend’s house. I didn’t even notice how I spilled half of the tea on the table. When I saw this, I immediately called my sister Belle, who at that time was playing with our dog, Buck.

Chapter 3

MULAN: As soon as belle came I immediately told her everything.

MULAN:Belle, you have to help me and clean it all up so that mommy can’t find out, you understand?

BELLE:I understand, but why shouldn’t mother know about this?

MULAN:If  mother finds out, she will be worried. I don’t want my mother to worry,she’s already tired.

BELLE:Yes you’re right. I will help you.

Chapter 4

Every year we play “Secret Santa”. This year we played three days earlier than last year as we needed more time to think of the perfect gift. On New Year’s Eve, we give each other gifts, which gives us great pleasure.

BELLE:I want my secret Santa to bring me a princess dress.

MULAN:I’m good with a sword so I’d be happy if my secret Santa brought me a sword.
