Once August, his sister Via, his friends Miranda, Jack, Summer and his sister’s boyfriend Justin met Ade and Gaia. They started talking often and spending time together. Time passed so quickly that they did not realize that the New Year was near. They decided to have a party at someone’s house.
They talked and decided to organize the party at August’s house. He would be helped by his sister, his father and his mother.
December 29 came. August’s family started decorating the house. They bought colorful balloons, candy, gifts, decorations, a New Year’s cake and a candle that depicted 2023.
When they came home from the store, the mother began to bring home the things they had bought. Mom put the cake in the fridge so it wouldn’t spoil. After some time, father opened the fridge and saw the cake. He didn’t know it was for a party, so he decided to cut a piece and eat it.
Via caught up with her father while he was eating and the phone fell out of her hand. Her father asked:-What’s going on? And Via answered:-This cake was for New Year’s party! The father panicked and did not know what to do. He suddenly ran out of the house and bought a new cake, exactly like the one mom bought and came home. He didn’t want to tell mom because he knew she would be angry. The old cake, which was cut, was distributed by Via to the homeless people.
January 1st came. Miranda, Jack, Summer, Ade and Gaia came to the party. They also brought gifts with them. All of them had a great time at the party and they also liked the cake that the “mom” bought.
What I want for 2023?
Hi. I am Kesaria Kharebava from Georgia. I’m 11 years old and I’m in the 5th grade. For this year I want the have good grades at school and I want to learn more. I want to make my mom proud and I want to make a lot of new friends.
