You’ll discuss and practise various elements of reading, writing and speaking in English.<\/p>\n

You’ll discuss topics in groups, and reflect together on how well you’ve done and what you can do to improve.<\/p>\n

In the afternoons, you’ll undertake English lessons that relate to your special area of interest.<\/p>\n

This will be interactive, looking at case studies and where possible visiting places of interest to give you the opportunity to practice what you\u2019ve learnt.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Business:\u00a0<\/b>improve your understanding of business, marketing and finance terminology, and develop confidence in report and presentation skills<\/p>\n

Culture and creativity:<\/b>\u00a0explore English in relation to art, architecture, design and heritage, and exchange ideas about how you want to play your part<\/p>\n

Information technology:<\/b>\u00a0learn terminology related to computing, programming and web design that can add valuable skills to your CV<\/p>\n

Science and engineering:\u00a0<\/b>study the vocabulary of recording test results, writing case studies and communicating design specifications<\/p>\n

You’ll work in groups on a project relating to your area of interest.<\/p>\n

You’ll present this at the end of the course as both a poster and an oral presentation, and receive feedback on your work from the teacher.<\/p>\n

You’ll also have the opportunity to develop a CV\/resum\u00e9 that reflects your English skills and knowledge of industry.<\/p>\n
