This week Unique Learning’s students are putting on 3 stage performances for our family, friends and community.<\/p>\n

The Schedule:<\/strong><\/h2>\n

On Monday, the 22nd of December 2014, 33 of our students will be performing in a play called\u00a0Love and Information<\/em>\u00a0by Caryl Churchill.<\/p>\n

One of the many points made by this exhilarating theatrical kaleidoscope is that we live in a world where information bombardment is in danger of leading to atrophy of memory, erosion of privacy and decay of feeling.<\/em><\/p>\n

On Wednesday, the 24th of December 2014, 19 of our students will be performing the much beloved classic\u00a0The Wizard of Oz<\/em>\u00a0by\u00a0\u00a0L. Frank Baum.<\/p>\n

Dorothy Gale is swept away to a magical land in a tornado and embarks on a quest to see the\u00a0Wizard\u00a0who can help her return home.<\/em><\/p>\n

On Friday, the 26th of December 2014, 29 of our students will be performng in the\u00a0Rodgers and Hammerstein tale\u00a0The King and I<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Based on the 1944 novel Anna and the King of Siam, and the\u00a0plot relates the experiences of Anna, a British schoolteacher hired as part of the King’s drive to modernize his country. The relationship between the King and Anna is marked by conflict through much of the piece, as well as by a love that neither can admit.<\/em><\/p>\n
