I\u2019m\nnot much of a writer of essays, since I\u2019m more interested in technology and\ntechnical literature, but one book impressed me, and I return to this book usually\nin my mind. I always loved books about characters that set a goal and must\nreach it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In\nmy childhood, my favorite movie was the one you might know very well. \u201cFinding\nNemo\u201d, a 2003 animated full-length cartoon, where Marlin does everything to\nfind his son. He was able to reach the goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And\nI want to tell you about a book that has a similar idea. The same one I\nmentioned a bit ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This\nis Richard Bach\u2019s \u201cJohnathan Livingston Seagull\u201d, and it\u2019s been turned into a\nclassic, and has influenced the 1970\u2019s peoples\u2019 psychology and worldview. It\u2019s\nstrange, but many don\u2019t know that there\u2019s a movie based on this book filmed in\n1973 and directed by Hall Barlett, which got a Golden Globe and the Grammy for\nmusic and was nominated for the Oscar for the filming job. In my opinion, the trainers\nof the seagulls deserved an Oscar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A\ngroup of Seagulls that live on a landfill are thinking about how to save their\nlives, but one seagull, Johnathan Livingston, decided to change his life by\ngoing up to the sky, and this is the mind of his life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He\nknew that the sky had something better to offer than the landfill. One time the\ngroupmates decided to kick him out of the group, but this didn\u2019t really anger\nhim. He continued to train hard, and one time he found similar ones, which had\nthe same ideas in their minds as Johnathan\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When\nI watched this movie, it impressed me a lot. Despite the text being read in the\nbackground, the visualization impressed me. I turned a seagull by myself for\nthat time, I flew with Johnathan, I dropped down and tried again with him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The movie is like the continuation of the original book. While watching it, I thought I read the book again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
