New Year’s night is special for everyone. For many people, it is very, very important, with whom they will spend this unique evening. For example, for some, it is a priority to be at home with family members, and for others – with friends.
Tom Kent is a tiny boy and his life is connected to the street. It’s sad that Tom doesn’t have a family, so the New Year wouldn’t be the same for him as it was for others.
One fine day, Tom met a lovely girl named Neil. Neil and Tom were the same age. Neil’s school was located in the street where Tom used to spend a lot of time, so he often had to see her. Neil saw that Tom was collecting colored chocolate wrappers. Neil invited Tom to spend New Year’s Eve with her, in her big yard. It happened that Tom spent the New Year full of boundless happiness and positive emotions. As for New Year preparations, Neil and Tom decided to prepare together.
Together they organized Neil’s huge yard, they decorated everything with colorful lights and lots of Christmas toys. Neil gave Tom a new Santa uniform that made him very happy. Tom had a dog named Jack that was always with him. Tom was heartbroken that Jack would not be with him during the New Year, but Neil’s father helped him solve this problem by giving Tom a surprise and bringing Jack to him and Neil. In addition, Tom’s uniform, which he was wearing, got a paint stain and he was very upset by this news, but Neil helped him as she poured more paint on the uniform and painted it beautifully. The painted clothes were even more attractive to Tom.
The arrival of the New Year is very joyful for me because it is connected with many new wishes that will bring colorful, bright, and happy days to my life. I really want to develop more in 2023. I wish to expand my knowledge and become a better student.
