Nikoloz Pitiurashvili – Robinson Crusoe

Everyone knows about Robinson Crusoe and both movies and books have been made about him. There is always a difference between movies and books. This difference may be insignificant.  Some people watch the movie because they don’t want to read the book, but the movie makers can’t be blamed in this case. They can’t accurately portray the scripted shots from the book. The movies are based on books or based on real stories or just made up stories. The point is that there is not only a difference between the book and the movie, there can also be a difference between the books, if we specify between the publishing houses. If one publishing house publishes a book about Robinson Crusoe and some moment or character is not there, maybe these will be present in the same book published by a different publisher. We cannot compare these books with the original version which is written exactly according to the Robinson Crusoe story.

This book teaches us that we should never give up and we should always try not to be oppressed by life. We should definitely follow our dreams as Robinson Crusoe did. He wanted to be a sailor and he succeeded despite many obstacles and he ended up on a deserted island where he spent twenty eight years. If he reflected it on someone else, he may have thought that he was a middle-aged man who was oppressed by  life, who was the only survivor after a shipwreck and stranded on a deserted island. However, he did not think about it in such a negative way and rather prayed for his life and thanked God that he survived.

So, in my opinion you have to read this great book and watch the film if you want to. My recommendation is to read the book first and then watch the film because there are some differences between the movie and the book.
