Elene Gamkrelidze – Christmas with Mulan

Mulan and her mother were setting up and decorating their Christmas tree. They placed a beautiful star at the top of the tree. Mulan wanted to put the star on the Christmas tree but suddenly she dropped it and it broke. Mulan’s mother was so upset and didn’t know what to do. Mulan had an idea. She wanted to go to the mall to buy new star. 

When Mulan visited the mall, there were lots of pretty toys and stars, but there was only one special star. Mulan liked that star, and she bought it. Mulan went back to the house, and gave that new star to her mom. Her mom was so happy. 

Mulan put the new star on the Christmas tree. Mulan’s dad made a very tasty cake, Mulan made tea and her grandma was asleep in her bed. Mulan’s mom helped her dad and everything was ready! Everything was perfect. Time was running out so fast and here they were at the last 10 seconds before New Year. 

At New Year everyone exchanged presents. Mulan’s dream was to have an adorable bird, so her dad gave her a bird as a gift! Mulan was so happy when she saw her new pet bird. Mulan picked up the little bird and said: “This is going to be the best year ever!”
